Location

Logan City, Qld, Australia

Summary

The Logan Eco Action Festival (LEAF) is a free community festival welcoming every one of all ages to attend, and more importantly participate. This interactive and educational event is designed to stimulate awareness about the environmental issues we face as a community, and through education empower residents to make a positive change.

As the word ‘action’ indicates, this festival will play a significant role in encouraging the community to actively change their habits, behaviours, and the technologies they use in order to create a better environment for everyone, for generations to come.

The festival provides a platform for organisations to connect directly with the community, allowing them to share environmentally friendly information, ideas, and products, ultimately assisting Logan City to become a sustainable and environmentally friendly city. LEAF is Logan’s annual signature environmental event.

With an array of eco businesses, live music, demonstrations, workshops and children’s activities, residents will be inspired to turn over a new leaf, and start thinking about how the actions and choices they make effect their personal health and the environment we live in.

LEAF will be held at Griffith University’s Logan Campus, a convenient venue with plenty of parking and a bus stop and train station close by.

LEAF has attracted more than 20,000 environmentally conscious people from all walks of life and of all ages from Logan and its surrounding areas since the inaugural event in 2010. People showed their support and dedication to the health of the planet by attending LEAF in the past and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better!
