World Environmental Education Congress Brisbane 2011

The World Environmental Education Congress (Brisbane July 2011) is targeted at all individuals and organisations with a stake in environmental and sustainability education who want to share learning and experiences with global experts and peers in Brisbane, Australia. Environmental educators work in schools, higher education, federal, state and local government agencies, non-government organisations, and in industry and business developing policy and educational programs for school students and the general community. Approximately 1000 – 1200 delegates from around the world are expected.

The 6th WEEC Organising Committee includes international and Australian environmental educators, as well as the executive of the peak environmental education association in Australia, the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE).
