2012 South East Queensland Healthy Waterways Award winners announced

Winners of the 2012 Healthy Waterways Awards were announced on Thursday 28 June. The devastating 2011 floods in Queensland, combined with extensive urban development and a growing population, have significantly impacted waterway health in South East Queensland. The annual Healthy Waterways Awards recognise and reward the hard work that individuals, community groups and organisations undertake to protect and restore the health of the region’s precious waterways.
