Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley Flood Management Review findings
Stage One of the Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley Flood Management Review has been completed. The review has found that there is no simple solution or single infrastructure option that can address all of the flood risk, and that infrastructure options can reduce, but not eliminate, the risk to life and property. Ten potential strategies have been developed for further consideration. One of the ten potential strategies is the raising of Warragamba Dam, which has divided opinions.
