Bushcare volunteer training and professional support materials

The Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority has developed Bushcare volunteer training and professional support materials. There are three modules:

• Working safely and weed control techniques
• Bushcare and the Big Picture
• The Birds and the Bees of Bushcare

Each Bushcare Booster module contains a participant’s workbook and a facilitator’s workbook which are available for free download and can be used to deliver workshops for Bushcare volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinators Network (VCN) Manual was fully reviewed and updated as part of this project.
