Funding opportunities in NSW

Five NSW funding rounds are open for applications in February-March 2013.

They are:

  • Estuary Management Grants – Applications close 14 February 2013. Grants to support local government to improve the health of NSW estuaries and understand the potential risks from climate change.
  • Coastal Management Grants – Applications close 14 February 2013. Grants to support local government in managing the risks from coastal hazards, such as coastal erosion, and restoring degraded coastal habitats.
  • Environmental Research Grants – Applications close 15 February 2013. Grants to support research projects that help address environmental problems in NSW.
  • Love Food Hate Waste Grants Program – Applications close 8 March 2013. Provides councils, non-profit organisations and community groups the opportunity to apply for grant funding to assist with local food waste reduction education programs targeting households.
  • Grant program for establishing and funding biobank sites on public land in the Sydney basin – Applications close 29 March 2013. A grant program targeted to public land managers in the Sydney basin who are willing to manage bushland for conservation purposes.
